On Monday, July 25th @ 12:15PM, DJ Roscoe 2000 talks with London based band, Ultimate Painting, ahead of their SF appearance at The Chapel. Formed as a loose collaboration by Jack Cooper (Mazes) and James Hoare (Veronica Falls), the project has blossomed into a full-fledged band celebrating the laid back, breezy sounds of late 60's pop with a modern twist.
On Thursday, July 21st @ 9AM, DJ Will Sherwin will be joined by writer and Zen priest Dana Velden, discussing kitchen wisdom and her first book Finding Yourself in the Kitchen: Kitchen Meditations and Inspired Recipes from a Mindful Cook. NYC rock band, Phantom Fifth, bring their dark melodies, shimmering guitars, and propulsive bass lines to the KALX studios on Friday, July 22nd @ 4PM! Joined by guitar legend, Chris Masuak of Radio Birdman, the band will perform live and speak with DJ Charley Varrick about their current tour rolling through the Bay Area.
