On Monday, July 27th at 7pm, Frontal Lobe speaks with renowned Bay Area producer and DJ Daria Lourd live in the studio a month after the release of Spiritual Surveillance, her latest EP, and the first under her full name (out via Cone Shape Top June 29th, 2026).
In Lourd’s own words, “the songs on Spiritual Surveillance are conversations with machines about people.” The lush sounds of the EP immerse the listener in the DJ’s emotions as she processes themes of interdependence and labor vis a vis capitalist extraction.
