Recordings of Touch Me on Spectrum

On Friday, December 13th @ noon, Spectrum hosts recordings from the sold-out show Touch Me that was put on by the Berkeley Science Review and the Bay Area Science Festival

At the event, Dr. Kiki Sanford from This Week in Science interviewed three Bay Area scientists about the ways animals and robots navigate the tactile world.  Lydia from the Bautista Lab at Cal discusses the molecular basis of touch in the star-nosed mole, Benjamin Tee from Stanford talks about touch sensation for the robots and prosthetics, and Daniel Cordaro from UC Berkeley's Keitner Lab reviews how we communicate emotion through touch.
