About Alien Boy: From Portland! Combining elements of pop punk, shoegaze, emo, and good ol fashioned rock n roll, these babies create songs that transcend any of those genres and become something LOUD and EMOTIONAL. Their most recent LP, Sleeping Lessons was released in August 2018 on Tiny Engines.
Cool Original is the songwriting and recording project of Nathan Tucker, with lots of help from his friends. Combining the muscle of a live band and the low pressure, try anything approach of bedroom recording, the project refined a genre-agnostic, warm mid-fi sound jokingly (but also deadly seriously) called dorito-pop over a handful of records as Cool American before (sort of) changing the name and and releasing new album I Never Said I Didn’t Care.
