Cat is a biological anthropologist who studies the postcranial skeletons of human and nonhuman primates. In the interview, she discusses her work before the COVID era, when she measured physical specimens in the National Museum of Ethiopia, as well as her work with digital data during the COVID era. Listen to hear her explain why she’s interested in anatomy and why so much of the work of today’s biological anthropologists involves addressing the sins of the field’s racialized past.
