Christina’s Trip is turning alternative/indie sounds from the 90s and 2000s into something new. They play distortion pop, combining sonic elements from bands like The Cure and Eric’s Trip. The band is a pandemic baby that started playing shows sometime in 2021, with the full band lineup coming together mid-2023. Their name is a reference to Sonic Youth’s song “Eric’s Trip” and the band Eric’s Trip.
