Dan Wilson Interview, 10/27 @ 2pm

Posted on October 20, 2023

Dan Wilson

Mr. Green Genes sat down with Akron, Ohio-based jazz guitarist, Dan Wilson, during Wilson’s recent visit to SF Jazz. Tune in on Friday, October 27th @ 2PM to hear the interview.

2022’s LetterOne Rising Stars Jazz Award winner, guitarist Dan Wilson began making waves through his work with Christian McBride and Joey DeFrancesco. Wilson performed on DeFrancesco’s GRAMMY®-nominated Project Freedom album before releasing his own label debut in 2021. His musical identity, shaped by everything from gospel and blues to jazz and hip-hop, makes him truly a Rising Star to watch.

His new album, Things Eternal, is Wilson’s second album with Brother Mister Productions, his mentor Christian McBride’s imprint under the Mack Avenue Music Group umbrella, and follows 2021’s acclaimed Vessels of Wood and Earth. McBride also served as co-producer on the project.
