Tune in on Wednesday, February 11th at 4pm to hear Moldy Fig speak with internet personality, journalist, and comedian, Annie Rauwerda, ahead of her Depths of Wikipedia show at August Hall in SF on February 13th.
While studying neuroscience at the University of Michigan, Annie Rauwerda started spending her free time editing Wikipedia and posting her favorite entries on social media. Her project Depths of Wikipedia has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker and more. She’s a big fan of the eclectic discoveries one can make on Wikipedia, including a list of lists of lists, helicopter prison escapes and sexually active popes. She has led edit-a-thons and live trivia shows across the United States and Canada.
Rauwerda’s upcoming book, Depths of Wikipedia, Dispatches from the Last Good Place on the Internet, will be available on October 13th, 2026.
