KALX is located at 26 Social Sciences Building, on the UC Berkeley Campus (click link for google map).
The Social Sciences Building (formerly Barrows Hall) is an eight story building. It is closest to the intersection of Bancroft Way and Barrow Lane. Barrow Lane is closest to the intersection of Bancroft and Telegraph, on the Southside of the campus.
KALX is in Room 26 on the basement level of the building.
KALX is not open to the public. Visitors must use the intercom to ring the station and/or knock. All visitors must sign in upon arrival. Please notify staff ahead of time if you plan to visit.
KALX is about .7 miles from the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. It is steps away from Sproul Plaza and Sather Gate.
There is street parking and both public and campus garages that require a fee.
