On Thursday, June 15th @ 8:30AM, DJ Jon The Reptilian speaks with Santa Cruz-raised, Grammy-nominated saxophonist Donny McCaslin.
McCaslin is a relentlessly exploratory musician who fully embraces the influences of modern electronic dance music and bebop in equal measure. His most recent release, Beyond Now, is dedicated and inspired by David Bowie, who employed the saxophonist and his quartet to be the band featured on his final statement of artistic genius, 2016’s Blackstar.
