Perhaps best known for his 20+ year history playing in Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Efrim Manuel Menuck also has a deeply moving catalog of solo music, including his 2018 album Pissing Stars. Incorporating synth-laden drones, rich electronic washes, and layers of hauntingly processed vocals, his solo compositions are as powerful and immersive as any of his collaborative works.
