Tune in to The Graduates Tuesday, July 16th @ 9AM for an interview with Elisa Visher from the Department of Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley.
Elisa is a PhD candidate whose research focuses on the evolution of viruses. In the interview she explains how she uses experimental evolution to probe questions about how viruses drive the patterns of evolution that we see in the world today. She looks for evidence to show that pressure from viruses drives diversity in plants and animals.
The Graduates, featuring graduate student research at Cal, is broadcast every other Tuesday on KALX 90.7 FM. Past episodes are available to listen and download free on iTunes or online.
