Elizabeth Muller on Spectrum

This week’s Spectrum interview on Friday, February 10 @ noon is with Elizabeth Muller the co-founder and Executive Director of Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature. The Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature study is doing a new analysis of the surface temperature record in a rigorous manner that addresses the criticism of previous analysis done by other groups. Elizabeth Muller talks about the genesis of the study, the group that was recruited to do the study, and how they have gone about it. Berkeley Earth, as they refer to the organization, has built an open platform for Global Warming temperature analysis. In October 2011 they released their preliminary merged data set and analysis, along with the tools they have developed, for public and peer review.
