In 2025, six-time Grammy nominee, Femi Kuti (son of Fela Kuti) and Positive Force, the band he formed in 1986, tour the world under the banner of “Politics Don Expose Them.” Celebrating his latest album release, Journey Through Life, Femi and his band continue to blend jazz, funk, and African rhythms in service of electrifying messages exposing ongoing political corruption in Nigeria.
More than 30 years into his career, Journey Through Life also has Femi looking back on his work and reflecting on family and what keeps him going. In his own words, Femi doesn’t consider himself an activist, but a musician in service of community.
