At 1pm on Sunday, May 10th, Frontal Lobe welcomes to the KALX studio Fluvial Reckonnections, a class of UC Berkeley’s Environmental Science, Policy, & Management program, to explore these questions. Taught by Professor Ignacio Chapella and visiting Artist/Professor Amy Franceschini, the class created a container for students, scholars, and others to trace the straights and gates of the San Pablo and San Francisco bays, up dams and canals, across the great dead bed of the California river. The journey has wound its way to KALX, with students eager to tell listeners about what they found.
