How can I get a Public Service Announcement (PSA) for my organization read over the air?

June 22, 2014 by hyperadmin

There are few ways you can submit your requests!

  • Mail:
    PSA Director
    University of California, Berkeley
    KALX
    26 Social Sciences Building # 5650
    Berkeley, CA 94720-5650
  • Email psa@kalx.berkeley.edu
  • Use this handy online form

In order for us to consider your submission, you must give us at least four weeks advance notice.

At a minimum we will need the following info:

1) Name of organization

2) Contact name and contact information (one we can release to the public – office number, website, etc.)

3) Information for the PSA (2-3 sentences about your organization, including types of services and the best way for KALX listeners to get involved or use your service.)

Note that PSA’s are for 501(c)3 organizations only!

How do I submit a UC Berkeley event (lecture, panel discussion, exhibition, concert, etc.) listing to your Campus Calendar?

June 22, 2014 by hyperadmin

Email the pertinent information to campus@kalx.berkeley.edu, 2-3 weeks in advance, and we’ll try and get it on the air (everyday at 1:15 PM and 8:15 PM)
