Los Cogelones are an experimental rock power house! The group, made up of 5 brothers all coming from Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, México, combine their known and lived traditional pre-Cuauhtémic indigenous sounds with rock and punks heavy riffs; also lived and learned in their barrio. The sonic fusion is distinct and is made to make the listener MOVE!
They cite their indigenous ancestral philosophy and the sonic landscape of war as other sites of inspiration and influences for their art and sound. The group embeds their musical work in their spiritual practice articulating a particular need to create an affective emotions with listeners- felt distinctly during their live sets.
