Kicking off their US tour at the Stork Club in Oakland Friday night, members of Redondo Beat will be stopping by KALX beforehand for a chat with DJ Rubberband Girl. Their US debut Meet Redondo Beat (Dionysus) spent a couple months in the Top 100 charts on KALX in early 2011, a brilliant blend of sunshine, pop, doo-wop and swirling psychedlic garage rock spanning several eras.
