Joshua Benjamins on The Graduates

Posted on January 4, 2021

josh_benjamins

Tune in to The Graduates this Tuesday, January 5 at 9AM, for an interview with Joshua Benjamins from the Classics Department at UC Berkeley. Joshua studies how concepts and ideas evolve over time with a particular focus on these processes in the Later Roman Empire. In the interview we discuss how Romans’ understanding of time changed as their city grew into an empire that seemed increasingly tenuous in the time period Joshua focuses on.

The Graduates, featuring graduate student research at Cal, is broadcast every other Tuesday on KALX 90.7 FM, 9-9:30AM. Past episodes are available to listen and download free on iTunes or online. This episode of The Graduates is hosted by Andrew Saintsing, a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology.
