Joyce Chery on the Graduates

Tune in for another episode of The Graduates as we speak with Joyce Chery, Department of Integrative Biology, about her work studying neotropical woody vines, the lianas; cellular composition of woody vines vs. trees; stem anatomy and morphology; and the phylogenetic framework of the lianas. In the interview, Joyce talks about her transition from art to science and vice versa, the meticulous work of histology, her process of creating, and how it feels to have given a finishing talk in the Department of Integrative Biology.
