This Saturday, April 27th, at 9PM, The Genderwave will be hosting Fugitive Gods (@fugitive_gods on Instagram) and many more… on KALX Live.
Fugitive Gods is an Oakland based experimental band. Its band members are animated meat sacks that act as vessels for the wailings of obscure gods. These gods are usually cruel and insensate to the desires of humans, mostly uncomprehending of life (and death), but yet complete and perfect in their stale divinity.
After their performance, 6 MORE local musickers will be joining them for a wild group improvisation, including electronics, drums, percussion, double bass, keys, bass guitar, sampling, resampling…. as well as some sound collage sprinkled in courtesy of The Genderwave. Make sure you don’t miss this night of madness.
