Tune in to hear them discuss the challenges of pulling together the festival in a world of social distancing, Ellen Reid’s upcoming soundwalk designed for Golden Gate Park, celebrating the resilience of the artists over the last year, and Michael Hearst’s short piece he did with Kronos about Sea Pigs for PBS that will screen as part of the festival.
After a year’s hiatus, Kronos Performing Arts Association’s Kronos Festival returns to expand the annual San Francisco-based event into the virtual sphere with eight exciting online presentations, including fourteen world premieres. All streams will be available free of charge through Kronos Quartet’s website, on Facebook, and on YouTube—and will remain online through August 31.
