MC Frontalot Interview

Posted on November 5, 2019

MCFront

Join DJ Velvet Einstein on Wednesday, November 6th @ 8:30PM when he airs a recent interview with NYC based nerdcore hip-hop artist, MC Frontalot.  Together they discuss the internet, trolling per capita, memes, and lowering the barrier to insult.

MC Frontalot created the term “nerdcore hip-hop” in 2000 to describe his sad little enterprise. It has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon with hundreds of practitioners, various national and international touring artists, two feature documentaries, and blah blah blah.

The seventh MC Frontalot album, Net Split or, the Fathomless Heartbreak of Online Itself, is a break-up record about internet. Will Front and internet stop seeing each other? Or will they keep at it, locked into an ever-deepening shame spiral? That second thing seems more likely!
