On Method to the Madness, Friday, July 14th @ noon, host Lisa Kiefer speaks with Nathan Kaufman, Executive Director of the Perennial Farming Initiative [PFI] and Director of Living Systems at The Perennial Restaurant in San Francisco.
The Perennial Farming Initiative is a 501.c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to combating climate change from a culinary perspective. PFI believes that food is our best resource in the fight against climate change through projects like Aquaponics, Carbon Farming, a healthy soil guide, and growing regenerative and perennial grains.
In addition to his roles at PFI and The Perennial, Nathan also heads up the aquaponics program at Urban Adamah, an educational farm and community center in Berkeley.
