Roxy is a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology studying plant ecophysiology. In the interview, Roxy talks about her PhD research on trees and drought in tropical montane regions, as well her undergraduate work in North America and in Nepal. Roxy also discusses the relationship between tropical forests and biodiversity, and her outreach work both at her field sites abroad and here in California.
