Oakland’s SAALT is fronted by Alisa Saario, already a KALX Live alumni as the bassist for Cave Clove. Alisa brings in a new quartet incarnation of her band with the same hypnotic bass and lush vocals none of which can dispel the fringe theory the woman front and center has not culled her music from the sirens of her long lost home of Bainbridge Island, WA.
