Tune in Tuesday, January 19th @ 9AM as The Graduates kicks off a new semester with a special interview featuring three students from the department of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies! Kimberly Richards, Joshua Williams and Martha Gonzalez talk about their work with the New Play Reading Series, a monthly series showcasing work in development by exciting new and established playwrights. PhD candidates in Performance Studies direct undergraduate Theater, Dance and Performance Studies (TDPS) students in script-in-hand staged readings of the new plays, and each performance is followed by a discussion with the playwright. These readings give the playwright the opportunity to develop the play and give TDPS graduate and undergraduate students increased opportunities to collaborate with diverse artists. Performances are free.
