Italo Disco featured on Midnight Express

Tune in Tuesday, March 25th @ 11:59PM for Midnight Express with DJ Cherushii, featuring an hour of Italo Disco.  An early form of electronic dance music, Italo Disco was hugely popular in Europe in the early 1980s; however it failed to make a dent in the disco-phobic American music scene, where it still remains largely unknown. Featuring heavy use of synthesizers and drum machines, as well as amusing broken-English lyrics, Italo Disco was a precursor to modern genres of dance music such as techno and house.
