Pylon Reenactment Society Performance and Interview

Posted on December 6, 2018

PRS

Athens, GA based post-punk band, Pylon Reenactment Society, stops by the KALX studios on Friday, December 7th @ 3PM for a live performance and interview hosted by DJ Charley Varrick.

To celebrate her former band’s history, original Pylon singer, Vanessa Briscoe Hay, enlisted members of Athens bands Casper & the Cookies, The Glands, and pianist Damon Denton, to help create Pylon Reenactment Society.

The enthusiasm of audiences at their live shows has provided impetus to keep moving forward and to begin writing fresh material in the spirit of Pylon. They aren’t Pylon, but are maybe the next best thing.

Pylon Reenactment Society plays Brick & Mortar Music Hall on Friday, December 7th @ 9PM with Blank Square and Modern Dance.
